Sheyenne Care Center
Sheyenne Care Center is a long-term care facility that can provide nursing services 24 hours a day to its 170 residents. The center employees 240 people and is sponsored by the Sister of Mary of the Presentation. Sister of Mary is a nonprofit that helps communities offer quality health care.
Sheyenne provides a rehabilitation program that offers physical, occupational and speech therapy. Its special care unit provides a safe, secure environment for residents with mental illnesses. The center also has an Alzheimer’s unit for residents with Alzheimer’s or dementia. The unit is designed to focus on each individual’s unique needs.
The care center offers a monitoring system which alerts a response center in case of an emergency. In-house childcare and preschool are also available.
